Real Bride Allison wears Freesia by Alena Leena

We first met Allison in November of 2023 when she arrived at The Veil Collective with her darling mum by her side. She had discovered the boutique while searching for Alena Leena, an exclusive designer she couldn’t find anywhere else in Brisbane, and was instantly drawn to the curated collection that felt refreshingly different from the rest of the city’s bridal scene. At the time, she was leaning towards big, floaty silhouettes with plenty of movement and flair. That was the vision, at least… until one unexpected gown quietly stole the spotlight.

During her appointment with stylist Jess T, an unexpected contender was introduced into her lineup: Freesia by Alena Leena. A gown with a plunging neckline, full pleated tulle sleeves, and a figure-skimming silhouette crafted from comfortable stretch crepe. It wasn’t what she had pictured herself in, but the moment she slipped it on was pure bliss.

The fitted design sculpted her frame beautifully with the removable sleeves adding both versatility and a unique twist she hadn’t seen elsewhere. It was bold in its simplicity and quietly romantic. Freesia was the gown that changed everything.

Allison returned to the boutique the very next weekend, this time solo, and said YES! to her gown with a celebratory mimosa in hand. Her mum rejoined her for her collection appointment a few months later, where Allison also brought in her wedding shoes and veil options to try on with the dress. Seeing everything come together made her fall in love with it all over again.

In October of 2024, she wed at the Gold Coast Farm House, feeling confident, comfortable, and completely herself in Freesia. The gown’s ease of wear made the whole day feel effortless, and the compliments poured in. Friends and family adored how unique the gown was, often saying they had never seen anything like it before.
